• Login to the system administration
• Navigate to 'IVR'
• Add or Edit the existing IVR
• Set '9'='Directory', for example
• Click on 'Save'

 
Dial the IVR number from any system extension. Press '9' (As set for directories). Using your UAD/Phone keypad, type the first 3 digits of the party's last name (e.g. type 764 = SMI(th)). The system will play back the full party name
Press '1' to dial that party or '*' to play the name of the next matching user.
