What surprised me the most was that, even after more than 10 years of collaboration, Bicom’s approach remained very human and collaborative. They are not just a vendor delivering technology, but a true partner who listens, welcomes feedback, and works alongside us to grow together.

In 2013, Roberto Tordini, co-founder of CLK Italia, was looking for a reliable and flexible communications platform that could support the company’s growing telecom needs. 

And after more than a year of searching globally, he came across Bicom Systems.

That initial connection became stronger over time. In 2014, the teams met in person at a team-building event, and by 2016, CLK Italia had become Bicom Systems’ official representative in Italy.

Before partnering with Bicom Systems, CLK and the resellers they aimed to support faced the typical but persistent issues plaguing telecom service providers.

Most platforms on the market were rigid and difficult to scale. Support was either distant or insufficient, license costs high, and customization options severely constrained. Innovation was often limited by inflexible architecture.

And fixing these problems for resellers eventually turned into something much bigger.

A major turning point came in 2021. CLK Italia separated from the Bicom Systems business, giving rise to zerozero39, a company entirely focused on delivering Bicom’s platform to partners and resellers across Italy.

Starting with just four people, the team has since grown to include experts in technical support, marketing, sales, administration, and partner development. 

They all work closely with Bicom Systems’ headquarters and senior engineers, creating a focused organization that has become the go-to distributor for Bicom Systems in Italy.

“After years of continuous experience and investment, Bicom Italia has become the reference point in Italy for resellers and partners who are looking for reliable, secure, and fully customizable solutions,” they proudly emphasized.

Most resellers and MSPs that turn to Bicom Italia are seeking one thing above all: freedom. They want to break free from inflexible platforms, rising costs, and unresponsive vendors.

One of Bicom Italia’s most impactful projects involved Coldiretti, Europe’s largest farmers’ association with 1.6 million members, done together with TIM, Italy’s major telecom provider.

Coldiretti needed a UC solution across 110 regional offices, serving more than 5,000 users. After reviewing several vendors, Bicom Italia was the only provider able to meet both the technical and commercial requirements.

The result was a stable and scalable system managing thousands of extensions with ease. Bicom Italia also offered constant support, helping Coldiretti remain confident in a market dominated by more established players.

The project proved that the combination of the Bicom platform and local expertise could handle even the most complex national deployments.

Being a Bicom Systems distributor goes far beyond reselling licenses. Bicom Italia acts as the local branch in Italy. 

They offer Italian-language technical support, provide hands-on training for both technical and sales teams, and consultations to help partners build sustainable success.

“Our growth trajectory has been exponential,” the team explains. “In just five years, we have set up three colocation sites and six SERVERware environments, providing the best IAS (Infrastructure as a Service) with high availability and geo-redundancy.”

In the next few years, Bicom Italia plans to keep expanding its cloud infrastructure, strengthen its partner network, and provide even greater redundancy and reliability.
