Sangoma Cards

Supported models

Analog cards:

  • A200
  • A400

PRI cards:

  • A101
  • A102
  • A104
  • A108

BRI card:

  • A500

There is also an additional suffix which can be D, E or a combination of both:

  • D - Hardware Echo-Canceller
  • E - PCI-Express card

Analog and PRI cards utilize Zaptel like Digium cards, which means that Trunks and Extensions are created the same way as with other cards. Provider/UAD are different though, it should be Sangoma as provider for Trunks or Sangoma [card-name] for UADs.

Configuration

Go to the interface and click on 'System->Sangoma' cards. You should see a list of detected cards. Each card is shown as a set of ports.

PRI/Analog cards

For PRI cards, each physical port can be configured separately. One port equals a set of 1-24 channels in T1/J1 mode or 1-31 channels in E1 mode. When you click on the configure button, you only need to select which mode you want the card in and optionally set the Clock generation, depending on what's connected to the card.
After that, click on Save and then on the Apply button. Restart PBXware by clicking the Restart button on the right.

For analog cards, the FXO/FXS ports are configured automatically. Click on the configure button and then Save. After that, click on Apply and restart PBXware.
Each analog card will allocate 24 ports automatically

When configuring PRI/Analog Trunks in the Trunks interface, it will allocate the same 'group number' by default, meaning that multiple spans or cards will be called at the same time. To change this behavior, allocate different group numbers when you configure your Sangoma card.
Of course you can change additional details, but only if you know what are you changing with those specifics.

BRI cards

For BRI cards, each physical port equals 2 configurable ports, as in 2B channels. It is advisable to put all TE ports in the same 'group number' so that you will be able to make one trunk which will call all those ports at the same time.

Once you configure the cards, click Apply. After that, add any Trunks/Extensions that you want on your system and then restart PBXware.
