Installing PBXware on CentOS 5.2

Step I: Installation of CentOS 5.2 :

1.) When you insert the CentOS 5.2 DVD and start booting, type linux text and then press ENTER.
Note: If there are any problems with the installation, reboot the system and try with linux text nodmaraid .

2.) The next screen is the CentOS Installation Wizard. Please follow the instructions.
During the installation you need to select the following options:
     - Enable IPv4 support
     - When the installation asks what kind of OS you want, select "Server"

3.) After the installation you will need to reboot the computer. You will then be taken to the Setup screen.
Here we need to configure the following options:
     - Firewall :
         - Security Level: Disabled
         - SELinux: Disabled
     - System services :
         - ip6tables: Disabled
         - iptables: Disabled
4.) Now you need to log in as a root user and install the following:
      yum install kernel
      yum install kernel-headers
      yum install kernel-devel
      yum install gcc

 5.) Reboot your Computer

IMPORTANT: Make sure you boot the system with the newest kernel.

Step II: Installing PBXware Tarball:

 1.) Download the latest tarball.

      wget  http://downloads.bicomsystems.com/2.2/tar/pbxware-tarball-2.2.sh

 2.) Start the install

      sh pbxware-2.2-tar.sh

3.) After the installation is complete, you need to install Sangoma
 drivers

     /home/server/pbxware/sh/mkwanpipe

4.) The system is ready for use.

Step III: Configure Sangoma cards and create a trunk

1.) In the interface click on System->Sangoma cards. There you should see a list of detected cards. Each card is shown as a set of ports.

2.) For PRI cards, each physical port can be configured separately. One port equals 24 channels in T1/J1 mode or 31 channels in E1 mode. When you click on the configure button you only need to select which mode you want the card in. You may optionally set the clock generation which depends on what's connected to the card.
After that, click on Save and then on the Apply button. Restart PBXware by clicking the Restart button on the right.

 3.) Create a trunk.
