Agent Supervised Transfer

Description
The Queue Agent can perform supervised transfer, but in order to do so, the system supervised transfer code must be changed.

Changing the supervised transfer code

  • Login to the system administration
  • Navigate to 'Settings: Conf Files: Features'
  • Under '[featuremap]' set new 'atxfer' code

             atxfer => 123
            disconnect => 9

  • Click on the 'Save' button

Supervised transfer
Let's assume there is an Agent 1006 and Queue 1000. The agent will login into Queue with *203 + 1006 + # + 1006 + # + the extension from which the agent logs in. A call comes into the Queue and the Agent picks it up. Because we have set a supervised transfer to 123, the agent dials 123 + 5000 (the extension number to which the call is to be transferred). If the user at extension 5000 agrees with the transfer, the agent presses *, the call is hung up on the agent's side and is transferred to extension 5000. The agent can return to the caller on hold at any time by dialing 9.
